Caroline + Dhuruv
Lush Editorial Wedding at Tampa River Center in Tampa, FL
Caroline and Dhuruv’s Tampa wedding brought together classic blue and white florals and a few unexpected, statement-making details. Their ceremony at Tampa River Center featured a full floral arch overflowing with blue and white hydrangea, white roses, greenery, and cascading green amaranthus. Blue-and-white chinoiserie vessels filled with coordinating blooms framed the entrance to the ceremony and carried the design throughout the day.
Caroline’s bridal bouquet was designed almost entirely in white, with hydrangea, roses, ranunculus, calla lilies, delicate textural flowers, cascading phalaenopsis orchids, and dramatic strands of green amaranthus. The bridesmaids carried coordinating bouquets of white and soft blue flowers, creating a beautiful contrast against their mix of blue dresses.
One of our favorite elements was the abundance of chinoiserie pottery used throughout the ceremony. Rather than creating identical arrangements, we filled vessels of different shapes and sizes with masses of hydrangea, delphinium, roses, white stock, greenery, and cascading amaranthus. The result felt collected, layered, and a little unexpected while still keeping the overall design timeless.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued at the Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk, where floral details carried into the reception, including a blue-and-white chinoiserie arrangement at the bar.
From the oversized ceremony installations to Caroline’s cascading bouquet, this wedding was a beautiful example of how a traditional blue-and-white palette can still feel fresh, modern, and completely unique.
